Referral Program Terms
Summary: Participants earn 10% store credit when their referral makes their first completed purchase using a tracked referral link. Tracking is link-only with a 30-day cookie. Store credit cannot be combined with promo codes. Shoppers may subscribe to the newsletter for the current site discount, which is separate from referral credit.
1) Enrollment & Eligibility
- Must be 18+ and able to enter a binding agreement.
- One account per person or entity. Approval is at our discretion.
- All promotion must comply with these terms, site policies, and applicable laws.
2) Program Basics & Definitions
- Referral Link: Your unique tracked URL. Promo codes are not used for tracking.
- Qualifying Order: A paid order that is not canceled, refunded, fraudulent, or excluded.
- Cookie Window: 30 days. Last valid click receives attribution.
- First Purchase Only: Credit applies to the referral’s first completed purchase.
3) Store Credit Reward
- Rate: 10% store credit based on the order subtotal actually paid.
- Calculated after discounts and excluding taxes, shipping, gift cards, and store-credit redemptions.
- Store credit cannot be combined with promo codes at checkout.
4) Exclusions
- Taxes, shipping, tips, gift cards, and store-credit redemptions.
- Fraudulent, test, canceled, charged-back, or fully refunded orders.
- Orders intended to game the program (duplicate households, devices, or networks).
5) Verification & Adjustments
- Referral rewards remain pending during a short verification period.
- Refunds or chargebacks reverse the related store credit.
- We may freeze or reverse credit for fraud or policy violations.
6) Reward Timing
- Store credit is typically issued 7 days after a qualifying order completes.
- There is no minimum threshold required for store credit to be issued.
7) Promotion Rules
- FTC disclosure required near your link (example: “I may earn store credit if you purchase through my link”).
- No brand impersonation, brand bidding, or misleading claims.
- No spam, cookie stuffing, bots, forced clicks, or deceptive redirects.
- Products are for research use only and not for human consumption.
- Audience must be 18+ with accurate research-use language.
8) Brand & Creative
- Use approved branding only; do not alter logos, COAs, or claims.
- No domains or social handles that impersonate Certified-PEP.
- Creative must be updated or removed within 48 hours if requested.
9) Data & Privacy
- Comply with applicable privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA where required).
- Do not publicly share private dashboard or customer data.
10) Suspension & Termination
- We may suspend or terminate participation at any time.
- Material violations may result in forfeiture of pending or unissued credit.
11) Changes
Program terms, rates, or exclusions may be updated with notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12) Disclaimer & Liability
The referral program is provided “as-is.” Certified-PEP is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Aggregate liability will not exceed the value of store credit issued in the prior three (3) months.
13) Governing Law
Governed by the laws applicable where Certified-PEP operates. Venue and jurisdiction are selected by Certified-PEP if a dispute arises.
